Dairy Springs Campground

Thirteen miles east of Munds Park, Dairy Springs Campground accommodates groups of up to 40 people. Have a family get-together, private retreat or club campout with plenty to do nearby. This U.S. Forest Service campground sits under a canopy of ponderosa pine and white oak at the confluence of three trailheads into the Coconino National Forest. The campground offers vault toilets and drinking water. The village of Mormon Lake is less than five miles away, where you can have a steak dinner and rent trail horses and mountain bikes. Dairy Springs Campground also offers 15 family sites. The campground is open from May through early October and accepts reservations. - AZCENTRAL.COM

Lakeview Campground

Lakeview Campground sits beside Upper Lake Mary 15 miles to the northeast of Munds Park. Nestled under a grove of ponderosa pine, this terraced campground offers views of the lake and a half-mile maintained lake access trail. Vault toilets and drinking water are available on location. Campsites include picnic table, grill and fire rings. The campsite picnic facilities are available for day use when available, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The campground opens in early May and closes for the winter in early October.

Pinegrove Campground

Pinegrove Campground is spread out through a cool stand of pines bordered by high country meadows.The lakes around these forested campgrounds are used as a stopover for migrating waterfowl, a wintering site for rare bald eagles, and a feeding ground for resident ospreys. The area is home to a considerable number of elk and mule deer, too.
